Health Care Infographic

I know perhaps a 'catch-up' post would be more appropriate, but I'm deciding to put this up in the meantime. This quarter (quarter 5), I'm in an Information Design class - it will entail me learning various creative methods for displaying quantitative data. One thing I've learned so far is how amazing the New York Times online tackles such endeavors. Check out this little widget below:








The best part about it is that it is dynamic. In other words, as the information changes (e.g. if the most discussed topic alters), the amount of people within a room updates. Hopefully by the end of the quarter, I can churn out something as nifty.
